There is someone staffing the infirmary at all times. Even if the Head Nurse is not present, NPCs may be emitted. Thus, while Healing Arts students may observe, at no point is one student to treat another. In case of emergency sparks should be sent up, and a Nurse (PC or otherwise) shall be with you shortly. In addition, an NPC Master Mind Healer visits twice weekly, holding appointments in an office off the infirmary.

Overnight stays in the infirmary are rare, as most injury or illness can be magically healed in a matter of hours. If it is so dire as to require more than two nights stay, the character is more likely to be removed to St. Mungos Hospital for treatment. Quidditch injuries are generally limited to bruising, strains and occasional dislocations, but cushioning charms on the fields and kinder, gentler bludgers prevent regular breaking of bones. This is a school, Professors are far more interested in breaking your minds.

Please note that every visit is ICly logged, and so we ask that should your character require treatment an @mail is sent to the Head Nurse (currently Master Healer Aurora Reynolds) with the reason and a very short summary if it was scened.
