Puppets are permitted as long as they follow this policy:

1. Familiars only. No House-elf puppets, no garden-gnome puppets. Puppets are not to be anything that can speak with one exception: Adult characters may have child puppets for children not yet of school age.

2. Puppets are not to be left in public areas. The owlery is an exception. They will be @swept back to the owner if they are.

3. Puppets are used to enhance RP, not to spy on it. If a puppet is being used for spying, it should be reported to the staff.

4. Puppets should have a desc of at least three lines, preferably stating to whom they belong.
